With
an eye for detail, a mind for creativity and a hand for innovation,
Nida Azwer has plunged into the shark-infested waters of Karachi's
fashion scene. Having recently graduated from the Indus Valley School
of Art and Architecture, with a distinction in textile design, Azwer's
work has already appeared on the cover of Visage. Azwer chooses
not to restrict herself to a single form of couture. Her designs
are trendy yet traditional, fun but sophisticated, flirty without
being frivolous. Although clearly affected by Mughal tradition,
her line includes modern party-wear ensembles, a range of lightly
embroidered casual kurtas, as well as richly adorned bridal wear.
Having set up shop, and established a regular clientele while churning
out two stunning collections within six months of graduating, Azwer
has designs to ascend the fashion pyramid! |
