Newsline handpicks five designers from Karachi and Lahore to make you sparkle through hot summer nights. There's Shehla Rehman of Unbeatable who is inspired by anything and everything - a beautiful bird can inspire a colourful and dramatic outfit. Then there's Mahjabeen, whose flowing, mint ensemble reflects her philosophy:'simple, elegant, flowing and affordable.' Ahsan Hussain, meanwhile, creates traditional ensembles with a funky twist. He is fascinated by vibrant colours and inspiration can come from the most mundane activities. Who'd have thought jogging would inspire one to sculpt clothing?
