Sonya Battla’s summer line is reminiscent of the flower power era of the sixties and classic Lucknow style. Bias cuts, fluted sleeves fringing, ruching and lacing have been combined with subtle embroidery and kamdani in a fresh colour palette of blues, mint green, rose, mauve and white.
The clothes are structured around the body either with
figure skimming bias cuts or flowing kurtas teamed with straight
pants and pencil trousers. The mood is retro with a contemporary twist
in Sonya’s inimitable signature style.
